Animex permanent wildlife exclusion fencing, one-way system, is made from 2mm thick steel barrier panels, 2.4m in length, supplied in 1200mm heights. When installed, the fence shall provide an above-ground height of approximately 850mm (1200mm panel).
The Animex barrier shall provide a solid, non-climb surface and incorporate a factory-formed folded anti-climb lip consisting of a 550mm primary fold, a 100mm secondary fold and a 50mm tertiary fold from the top edge to deter climbing.
Installation shall include burial of 200mm below finished ground level with an integrated 200mm horizontal anti-dig lip to prevent burrowing beneath the fence line.
Panels shall be securely fixed to permanent timber or galvanised steel posts using corrosion-resistant fixings at specified centres, with all joints overlapped to eliminate gaps.
The system is typically specified for projects with a design life of up to 25 years and has an expected service life of up to 50 years, subject to site conditions and maintenance.
