Case Study:
Floating Fence

- Fence: AMX-Temporary Custom
This unique project incorporated a floating fence along the underwater turbidity curtain to prevent turtles from hibernating in the area designated for the construction of a new bridge. Engineers and environmental agency officials had never seen or tried anything like this so we worked with them to adapt their original installation methods and proposed solutions to tackle the changing tides and high winds. Following its success, we hope we can see more pragmatic approaches taken to safeguard vulnerable species whilst moving project progress forward. This project showcases the unique solutions that can be found when engineers and environmental teams work closely together.
